Senior Market Sales has experienced dramatic growth since Jim Summers took over the strategic direction and day-to-day operations as President in 2000. With Mr. Summers at the helm, Senior Market Sales grown to more than 20,000 downline agents and was recognized as one of America’s fastest-growing small businesses in 2008 and 2009 when it was honored with back-to-back Inc. 5000 awards.
Mr. Summers has held a variety of sales, marketing and executive management positions in the life and health industry over the last 25 years. He’s a recipient of numerous awards for manpower development, new product innovation and sales achievement. He has also served on the public relations committee for NAILBA and the Health Underwriters Legislative Council: a group of industry professionals and lobbyists who drafted a NAHU policy on health care legislation.
Mr. Summers is a graduate of Rockhurst College and a member of the National Association of Independent Financial Advisors (NAIFA), the Society of Certified Senior Advisors, the National and Local Association of Health Underwriters and the National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies (NAILBA).
