FOR EXAMPLE:
A producer generates $56,000 in LTCI net annualized premium:

Period: The qualification period is “open ended”; this means that travel points, which are based on an agent’s in-force with the company, are carried over from year to year. Qualifiers are determined based on their December 31st in-force each year.
When? The 2008 qualifiers will arrive at Lake Louise in May 2009. The exact date is TBA.
Agents Qualifications: Any appointed agent*** who accumulates 100,000 net* travel points by the end of a calendar year gets invited (with spouse) to the next convention. For example, an agent with 116,500 net travel points at year end 2008, will be invited to attend the May 2009 convention. The excess points will roll-over to the next year.
Travel Points: Each in-force life policy is worth 500 “travel points”. Each $1,000 of in-force annualized premium is worth 1,000 “travel points”.

d. Minimum of 50,000 points must come from fixed life
and term sales (reduced to 40,000 for Veteran Agents
and New Producers as defined below).
VETERAN/NEW PRODUCER
Veteran (Minimum 55 years of age, with 15 years service
and previously qualified for Protective Club at least 5 times)
New Producer (Contracted February 2007 and after)
Veteran and new Producers will be credited 20,000 bonus
points for the convention period. Qualification will then be
based on the same Producer rules outlined above. Bonus
points are excluded in determining qualification for
Colonel’s Cabinet or for extra qualifiers.
