Chris became interested in insurance marketing while selling travel insurance and working toward his bachelor's degree in business management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. After joining SMS, he quickly moved up the ranks to provide expert annuity marketing advice to agents. Chris values his business relationships and looks forward to helping independent broker dealers and registered investment advisors streamline their business models.
As the associate director of institutional sales, Chris uses his decade of experience in the business to offer value-added services that may be outside of clients’ normal scope of offerings, yet are integral parts of the retirement planning process.
Chris was born in Portland, Ore., and has lived in the San Francisco Bay area, St. Louis and finally settled in Omaha, Neb. He is married and has three daughters. During his free time, he enjoys golfing and gastronomy, the study of gourmet cuisine and culture. Chris is also an avid sports fan.
