The Chronic Illness Accelerated Benefits Rider (CIABR) from North American Company (NACOLAH) is available at issue with no additional premium and allows the policy owner to accelerate a portion of the death benefit when certified by a physician as chronically ill.

This living benefit can help offset the cost of these expenses. Your client can elect a lump sum payment or periodic payments every 12 months as long as he remains chronically ill (subject to restrictions).
