Mutual of Omaha has implemented a number of enhancements to their e-App tool making it easier to use for both you and your clients. One major enhancement is the addition of a voice signature process that allows your clients to “sign” the app over the phone using an interactive voice response (IVR) process. Voice signature is only available for open enrollment and guarantee issue cases, but it is helpful for people who are less comfortable using the Internet. Credit cards are accepted for the first month’s premium.
Other enhancements include improvements to print and mail process. If you need to have an application printed for wet signature, you can ensure the application is in good order by completing the entire e-App process and then clicking on Print for Signature. Once your client returns their signed application to you and you mail the paper app to Mutual of Omaha, you will have the ability to change the status on the dashboard to Submitted Wet Signature.
Mutual of Omaha’s e-App process is available in all states except Connecticut, Hawaii and Minnesota.
