Senior Market Sales Service Update

As the situation continues to evolve with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), Senior Market Sales® (SMS) wants to assure all of our producers and carrier partners that although we may be operating differently, we are committed to the same service standards to which you have been accustomed. We are being proactive and have activated processes outlined in our business continuity plan. Our top priority at SMS is ensuring the health and safety of our employees while maintaining critical business functions to serve our agents. Again, just because we are operating differently, you should not experience any disruption of service.

At SMS our mission is to help agents leverage time, make more money and put their business in a position of distinction. That has not changed even in these unprecedented times.

  • Core Business Hours – Our core business hours remain unchanged: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. through 6:30 p.m. Central Time and Friday 7:30 a.m. through 4:00 p.m.
  • Remote Work – We are taking precautions to allow some of our employees to work from home. With the technology we have, this should be a completely seamless experience on your end.
  • Core Business Functions – While this situation has surprised nearly everyone to some degree, we at SMS have been planning and preparing for such a potential business interruption scenario. Our business continuity plan is activated and includes processes and procedures that enable us to keep our core business functions like commission payments, sales and marketing support, contracting, new business processing and tech support available even if our office is unavailable.
  • Doing Business Virtually – SMS offers an array of tools to enable you to transact business online or over the phone, including:

In an environment where in-person meetings are not possible, these tools will be critical to keeping your business running.

Our top priority, as we navigate this situation, is ensuring the health and safety of our employees while maintaining critical business functions to serve our agents. Independent agents are the most resilient and creative sales people in our industry. Anticipate continual development of tools and processes to help you during this current disruption. We look forward to working with you and want you to know that we are open for business to serve you and your clients.
